Acupuncture
During your initial consultation, Jessica will review your previous medical history and create a treatment plan that works best for your unique health, wellness and beauty concerns. In your follow-up appointments, Jessica will continue with your treatment plan and make adjustments as necessary to suit your needs.
Ear Seeding
Just like the body, the ear has acupuncture points that can help bring the body into a place of balance, leaving you with a sense of well-being. Customized or standardized protocols may be used to help lengthen the effects felt after a treatment. Giving clients a practical tool that allows them to take an active role in their recovery.
Tuina
Tuina simply translates to Massage in English, and may use slightly different techniques than Western styles. Tuina techniques often involve working on the meridians to help improve qi and blood flow. Jessica’s tuina style of choice is Wu’s Head Massage, which involves a combination of Eastern and Western techniques. Wu’s Head Massage works great for stress relief, insomnia, headaches, cosmetic rejuvenation and even digestive issues!
Gua Sha
In addition to being deeply relaxing, Gua Sha on the face can help improve lymphatic drainage, reduce fine lines and puffiness. Jessica uses high quality Manjula Essential’s oils during the treatment which further enhance the effects of Gua Sha to promote healthy and glowing skin.
Lifestyle Advice
Jessica will take a holistic approach to your healthcare and look at all aspects of your life that could be negatively contributing to your health. We will work together to build a plan that works for your lifestyle, allowing you to take your health into your own hands.
Cupping
Jessica’s cupping style of choice, is fire cupping, which uses negative pressure to create suction. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, cupping helps to move the qi and blood, activates the meridians, clears heat and helps prevent pathogens from penetrating deep into the body. From a Western perspective, cupping helps by reducing pain and causes relaxation by improving circulation, resetting the fascia on the muscles, aiding in lymphatic drainage and improving immunity.
